Expectations and Rising Excitement

- 2 days before departure -

I think I’m ready. It’s strange because I don’t really know anything. I’ve talked to my host family and looked up my school, I know wich flights I’ll be on, but that’s it. Everything else is unknown and variable and still I’m not stressed at all. I’m very excited and almost can’t wait. The past few days I’ve been saying goodbye to a lot of friends and it’s soothing to know I’ll see them again soon. Like I said, I think I’m ready.

Australia, here I come!

The pictures of this post are taken at the Zandsculpturenfestival in Middelkerke, I found them appropriate and funny to add.
On my flight, I’m hoping to sit next to people who I could talk to and to get at least a little bit of sleep, but we’ll see. I do already know I’ll be travelling for a bit with other exchange students, who are also heading for Australia, so that’s very nice. I’m so excited!!
