End of exams
After my final prelim on Monday, I had made plans with friends who would show me Darlington Point. That’s the next shire about 30 minutes away and so some of my friends live there. I still love driving past countless planes, staring into the vastness of Australia.
Point is a small town, but since the Murrumbidgee flows right through it, the nature is absolutely stunning.
We had a great time and to go back to Griffith I even caught the bus!

Happy Birthday
One of my friends turned 17 on Tuesday and of course we had to celebrate! Walking all the way to the pool on a hot day is rewarding and I am glad I did it with 2 friends. Finally at the pool we had so much fun!
Year 11 wellbeing excursion
On Wednesday, the year coordinator had organised a fun trip to Wagga, where we enjoyed Vortex and Flip Out. The 2 hours bus ride was long and I was glad to sit next to a friend. In Vortex we got to climb walls, chase each other in the ninja parcours and walk high up in the air. So much fun! We stayed a really long time in Flip Out, which is a trampoline park, because we couldn’t go to the mall because of the rain. We still had a lot of fun trying to jump as high as possible and some people learned how to do a back flip. We played with the ball for a while and most of us ordered chips to enjoy afterwards.
Last lessons
Not many people came to school, since prelims were over but they still expected us to go to class. However I still had a lot of fun with the few people that still came. I thanked all of my teachers and they even thanked me. I love the Aussie attitude.
Lasting memories
I am incredibly grateful for this wonderful experience. I love my host family and the friends I’ve made. It makes me sad that I already have to leave and I really hope to go back and to see everyone again as soon as possible.
See ya!
